Kinda hard to explain, I got out of it that this guy dies and comes back to life with powers and fights demons. I am pretty sure thats an overall summary of it.,

It's kinda like DragonBall Z in that they use martial arts and energy attacks. Of course it's darker than DBZ due to the nature of the enemies they fight and also the show centers more around the human characters than the non-humans like in DBZ.
